I am a physician-scientist with unique training, expertise, and passion for 3D virtual surgical planning. I received my dental degree from Harvard and completed a research fellowship in craniofacial imaging, where I studied the three-dimensional characteristics of the upper airway in patients with sleep apnea. Following this research fellowship, I completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. To pursue my passion for imaging research, I obtained a medical degree from the University of Tennessee, completed radiology residency at Baptist Hospital, and a pediatric radiology subspecialty fellowship at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Presently, I am an assistant professor at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (SJCRH), specializing in 3D virtual surgical planning. My research focuses on the development of 3D visualization workflows and the targeted application of these workflows to clinical and scientific applications.
