Megan Jiao
Megan Jiao is a current Medical Research Scholar at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a medical student at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). She received her Bachelor of Science at Duke University and has a background in applying emerging digital technologies, particularly serious games, to clinical and public health contexts. She is currently conducting clinical research at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) utilizing virtual reality-based, gamified cognitive training for children and adolescents with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and examining user-avatar alignment in a dynamic VR environment for health education.
