Stephanie Montgomery serves as the XR Association’s Senior Vice President of Research and Best Practices. XRA’s mission is to promote the responsible development and thoughtful advancement of XR that fosters positive societal outcomes. Ms. Montgomery manages the implementation of XRA’s research agenda, development of its catalog of industry-leading best practices and guides its Health and Inclusion committees. She previously served the ICT industry as the Vice President, Technology and Standards at the Telecommunications Industry Association running their standards development organization. While there she launched new programs in the areas of smart cities and intelligent transportation systems. She is the proud owner of three VR headsets, an occasional gamer and recipient of the American National Standards Institute’s prestigious Meritorious Service Award.
